What services do you offer?

Individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, child and adolescent therapy, group therapy, telehealth therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and clinical supervision for emerging professionals.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Secure telehealth sessions are available to anyone located in Nebraska. In-person sessions in Omaha will begin once a permanent office location is secured.

What ages do you work with?

We work with adults, adolescents, and children. Therapy for minors is arranged with a parent or guardian.

What insurance and payment do you accept?

We accept Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, EAP, private pay, HSA/FSA, credit/debit card, and cash. Coverage varies by plan — reach out and we'll help you confirm your benefits.

How do I book an appointment?

For now, email us at kmcghee@handucounseling.com and we'll get you scheduled. Online booking will be added once our secure scheduling system is connected.

What are your hours?

Sunday through Friday, 8:00am to 7:00pm Central Time.

Is what I share in therapy private?

Yes — with the legal exceptions all licensed therapists follow (such as safety concerns). Clinical records and sessions are handled through HIPAA-compliant systems, and you'll receive a full Notice of Privacy Practices when you become a client.

What is clinical supervision?

It's structured guidance for therapists working toward full licensure. If you're an emerging professional seeking supervision, reach out and we'll talk through whether it's a good fit.
